Legal Guarantee of Conformity

All products purchased on kiding.it are covered by the Legal Guarantee of Conformity provided for by Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), as amended by Legislative Decree 170/2021, transposing EU Directive 2019/771.

1. Guarantee Duration

The legal guarantee lasts for 2 years from the date of product delivery. For defects that appear within 12 months of delivery, it is presumed that the defect was already present at the time of delivery, unless proven otherwise. For defects that appear between the 12th and 24th month, the consumer must prove that the defect was present at the time of delivery.

2. What the Guarantee Covers

The guarantee covers any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery, i.e. when the product:

Does not correspond to the description, sample or model presented by Kiding.
Does not possess the usual qualities and performance of goods of the same type, which the consumer can reasonably expect.
Is not suitable for the particular use desired by the consumer, if made known to the seller at the time of purchase.

3. What the Guarantee Does Not Cover

The guarantee does not cover:

Damage caused by improper use, negligence, or inadequate maintenance.
Damage resulting from falls, impacts, exposure to extreme temperatures or chemical agents not intended for normal use.
Normal wear and tear of the product.
Damage caused by tampering or repairs carried out by unauthorized persons.

4. Available Remedies

In case of lack of conformity, the consumer is entitled to:

Replacement of the product, free of charge.

If replacement is impossible or is not carried out within a reasonable period, the consumer is entitled to:

An adequate price reduction.
Termination of the contract and a full refund of the price paid.

5. How to Exercise the Guarantee

To request guarantee service, please contact us at hello@kiding.it indicating:

The order number.
A description of the defect found.
Photos of the defect (mandatory to speed up evaluation).

Our team will evaluate the request within 2 working days and will inform you of the applicable remedy. Shipping costs for returning or replacing the defective product are borne by Kiding.

6. Kiding Materials Quality and Safety

Kiding products are designed with the highest quality and safety standards. The materials used — surgical 304 stainless steel and BPA-free silicone — are selected for their chemical inertness, durability, and safety in contact with food. Each product is certified according to applicable reference standards (including OEKO-TEX® certifications for textile products) and passes the quality controls required at every stage of production.

The legal guarantee complements — without replacing — our product philosophy: to build items that last over time and do not require frequent replacement.
